Things you think about when you are running into the wind. Uphill. In the Cold.

The endorphin rush at the end of the run.

The emotional rush outweighs the physical strain.

That little back dress you are buying yourself.

The little red dress you saw when shopping with your dad. After pointing it out, he says matter of factly, “You’ll be there soon enough.”

The Ann Taylor clothes your big brother promised you.

The look on his face when he sees you again. You know. That guy you were never good enough for.

Conversations with famous people about how to change the world: Bono, Oprah, Tony Blair.

Summer on the beach.

Not cringing anymore when you catch your own reflection.

A lot of praying.

  1. Do you run with anyone? That used to really help me. You are fortunate to have visible goals ahead of you. It’s better than searching for God knows what.
